go ahead … unplug, it’s that time of the year!
spring is in the air, finally. i love spring, it‘s one of my 3 favorite seasons. fresh air, sunshine and all the hope of the season ahead
unplugging sounds good too ... unplugging from dwelling on how much we’ve learned during the last two years that has ended up impacting how we spend our time, from home office and from winter’s harsh final days. maybe outdoor hikes are something that helps you unplug, or watching a comedy with family or some competitive board games. of course, there are realities that we really cannot just unplug from, and usually just being able to do even a small overture to assist others feels right.
we must not be the only ones thinking along these lines, and to jump start your own personal down time check out this new movie that will have you laughing as you plan some unplugged time.
spring is one of the seasonal transitions that is hallmarked by a lust for new, and for some of us that means trends we might embrace. right now whether you like to jump into trends in a big way or just sample them, neon is calling. neon colors are hot.
if a new swimsuit in the cards, try on neon before you buy another one in black. if the black is better, there's nothing wrong with that but don’t be surprised if you like the highlighter yellow!
hair follows in this direction as well with quikkies neon clip in extensions (they are fun without commitment) or all sorts of creative touches of color to brighten your mood every day. alternatively, hair accessories like headbands, scarves, scrunchies in neon colors are the perfect compromise when you just want to sample the trend.
but perhaps the biggest hair trend right now … unplug that flat iron ... waves, texture, movement … wearing your bob, or pixie or longer layers in a very personal, creative way frees you from frequent styling and says right on trend.
